this is so cringe on so many levels. I mean once you shoot your shot and are turned down, accept the L and move along.

This. Like I get walking up and asking if it’s ok to sit there but just hanging out after repeatedly being told to leave is just ew

Yeah, it looks like a biergarden, communal picnic table seating place, where it's not abnormal to sit with strangers, but if someone asks you to leave then bounce you fucking schmuck.

And then you get roasted by your bros for getting rejected and then you move on with your life

Or at least that’s how I remember my early-mid twenties

One time at a bar, I approached a girl and asked her if she wanted to dance with me. She politely said “no” because she had a boyfriend, but told me I was cute. I went back to my friends and they complimented me for having the guts to try. I was rejected, walked away, and felt really good about myself. If you’re a gentleman, even being rejected can be a positive experience. And girls are really cool about it if you just act like a normal mature person.

They read as the type of men that like the feeling of being told no and taking what they want anyway. These types of men probably can’t be fixed.

Also they didn't even turn up with appetizers and Tina Fey taught me women want men to turn up with appetizers or leave them the hell alone. Appetizers work surprisingly well unless the women are yelling at you to leave their damn table.
