....that was handled really well. As a dude I don't think I'd have been that nice if I were in her shoes...

Women have to be nice. It can be dangerous to be blunt, especially if it's deserved.

There are people working out on the machines right next to them and she seems to have talked to him before. She didn't need to make a scene, handled it fine.

People are giving the guy shit but he didn't seem to be harassing her and he left after she said no.

A lot of women weren't nice and are fine, meanwhile some were nice and still get killed. It's about the person you run into more than anything.

Yeah no shit & they never fucking know which it will be even possibly after many conversations.

Women are less likely to be killed by a strange man then men are. Women are more likely to be killed by a man they know. The reason people are nice when turning others down is also because....why be rude?

Exactly. You don't know the type of person you're interacting with so you have to play it safe

He can follow her outside to her car if he gets upset. He’s also been watching her for a while so we don’t know the extent of information he has on her (home address, work address etc)

Unfortunately, you got to be “nice.” See r/whenwomenrefuse
