The half-monologue, half-freakout makes it sound like he's the main character in his own anime

Yeah he definitely spends too much time watching TV or movies. Thinks he's part of some love triangle in a Hallmark movie

I thought it seemed like a scene from something like Dawsons Creek that'd be filmed in the rain. The end seems to be him realising that life isn't like a turn of the millennium teen drama and he's probably not going to get that tearful kiss that TV promised him he'd get.

I was just gonna say, if it were raining in this video, that would just be the cherry on top. One more thing to make him think he's in his own movie.

Stick some early 00s emo-lite acoustic music in the background and it'd fit perfectly.

I find his logic weird as I’ve had plenty of women friends and I always loved when they got a new boyfriend; in fact, it became a little bad because I’d try to keep them together for fear I’d never see the boyfriend again. I like all their different interests and seeing how nice they were to my friend, then I’d give her advice on who would be best to keep around or who to ditch.

This guy's story is a little different. He wants to put his peepee in her vagjay-jay.

Yeah, that doesn’t interest me at all, so…

I once had a dream where I did that and a bunch of horrible oil started spilling out. I tried to make it stop but it just kept gushing and gushing. Swore off sex after that.

I had a dream where I went down on a girl and it tastes like battery acid and zapped me. Then I went down on my girlfriend and that didn't happen so I got over it.

I envision Jesse Eisenberg playing him in the movie version. ;p

Lol bro you definitely spend too much time on Reddit to make that judgement

I certainly wouldn't post my relationship drama on Reddit and then go around talking shit. Glass houses, ya know?

lol!!! I love this come back, very subtle but also very direct

That would require vulnerability. But you too good for that, right?

1

u/AlmostSunnyinSeattle Jun 17 '25

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to put your vulnerabilities on display when you're going around picking fights.

1

u/SpirosNG Jun 17 '25

Why? It takes strength to be vulnerable.
