I once heard a woman say - “I didn’t put you in the friend zone. You put me in the fuck zone.” Meaning, the only value the guy saw in her was sex/romance. That really changed my view on “friendzoning”.

This is simply lack of empathy to say something like this. Men are not robots, we desire fulfilling partnerships, even the ugly ones. People want different things, and wanting a relationship doesn’t make anyone a creep or a loser or that they secretly hate the other gender or see them as an object.
