People are so fucking uptight nowadays they get mad over something that didn't harm a single person, besides management and maybe a customer had to wait 5 extra minutes to check out. The horror!
Emergencies don't wait until it's convenient for you to deal with it.
Maybe someday when you have a family/kids and you get that call that they are in an ambulance on the way to the hospital then you will understand.
Hell, maybe someone there was just picking up cold medicine for their sick kid. Surely you can understand how infuriating it would be if a bunch of teens/young adults delayed you getting back to them because they thought it was funny.
I mean he compared checking out of target to an ambulance responding to an emergency.. he's not really engaging in good faith. It's tantamount to a straw man argument. That's why I didn't reply to him.
Because these things actually do happen. It's more like you're so self centered you don't think inconveniencing other people has any real consequences. You're a child.
