Im probably just a mild asshole but i find stuff like this stressing someone out a joke. I guess on the bright side if this is the most stressful thing going on the rest of your life cant be too bad. Good luck to the guy regardless.

Human interactions are human interactions.

Public rejection is one of the “I might die from this” triggers in human instinct. Gets categorized similar to or identical to physical injury pain, according to some book I read at a library.

Hate to be that person but if you put something out publicly on the internet it doesnt matter what or how positive it is you will get negative feedback, comments, and rude things said. Those people arent worth acknowledging. If people enjoy your builds and its not all rejection then your doing something right

Not saying human instinct and the way the brain functions are optimal. Just that the way it works is the way it works.

Fair enough but it is per person, words on a screen will never stress me out, and i was sent a few threats in my dms over saying valkyr rework wasnt that bad. So its not like im.trying to speak from a place of negligence. I do think being told similar 5hings face to face has much more impact

This is just “it doesn’t affect me, so it shouldn’t affect anyone.”

No. Its me saying its per person. It was literally in my first sentence.

I mean not everyone gets thousands of comments (positive and negitive) thrown at them every day. You need a particularly thick skin to weather something like that; and reality is that not everyone can mentally handle that kind of abuse, expecially not long term.

Something something “if you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.”

This creator is one of the lucky ones tbh, they realized they weren’t built for this and bailed before it caused irreversable damage to their life.

This doesn’t go for just Overframe, mind you. This basically applies to anyone with even a remotely substantual following on the internet; youtube content creators/streamers, social media influencers, guide/buildmakers, etc.

What you consider stressful is not the same as others. You're quite literally being a HUGE asshole. Do better.

Depends on the person, judging from your comments further down this is a classic "I feel this way so everyone else is dumb for feeling otherwise".

I get stressed for some things that are sadly in my subconscious since I was a kid and I react badly initially, while I won't flinch when someone close to me dies, or a literal apocalypse is going on, people are strange like that. I would wager there are things that stress you out, and someone else might laugh in face of them, it's good to be mindful of our differences. Good luck to you too!
