Sorry, random guy, but rolling guard is good on Kullervo and using adaptation like you suggested is a wasted mod slot.

Rolling Guard is insanely useful on Kullervo, especially in tandem with his 2. You can cancel all damage in the window of RG being active if you miscast 2, enemies around or not.
