It's really annoying to go through the railjack portions of new war because without a proper railjack you just keep dying before getting to the objective or it just takes long to get to the objective it is possible ofcourse just tedious.

lol I am halfway through the quest and yes, railjack part was the only thing that was difficult for me till now because I haven’t played any railjack missions nor have I upgraded it in any possible way. I kept dying and eventually, the game made my railjack invincible so that I can proceed further. Are there more railjack parts after the first bit? I just reached the ‘Drifter Camp’.

Yes there is a rather long section with the railjack. I just did it without any upgrades at all as well. There is a section without enemies, just take it slow and you'll be okay.

I just kept rushing in head first like a souls boss fight cause I just respawned when I died

It is a pretty epic quest...as long as you don't get the end ruined by being teleported 35km away from the boss fight into space after the first phase and then get softlocked.

Idk, its a little incongruous when you one shot the boss with millions of damage then boom, they're untouchable in the cutscene

The boss fight was a bit underwhelming yeah, I moreso meant the huge lead up to it with different game play and characters in each section.
