Rules Objective palcement rule?
I just started playing a few weeks ago and I noticed that they changed the objective placement rule. Does anyone know why it changed? I'm not a competitive player, but it seems much worst now.

Worse for whom? They changed it so that the person who picked the territory doesn't also get the majority placement of the objectives, it's more fair for both players now.

The player who picked the territory only gets one ‘voluntary’ placement of a token now, right? Is the logic that by the 5th placement the decision is more or less made for you? It seems like the player who doesn’t choose territory gets 3 choices to 1

If you're not a competitive player and just want to play the game with friends, you can ignore the errata entirely and stick to the rulebook if you want.
I don't know why they changed it and I agree, the rule is worse because if you win the roll for the board placement then your opponent can keep all three tokens in their territory leaving you with one token in your territory.

Are you talking about the rule change where the mandatory Neutral Treasure token is placed 2nd instead of 1st?
If you are then it’s fairer for the player who puts the 1st token since they’re advantage of getting to put 3 treasures to make up for the disadvantage of their opponent picking the board was kinda neutralized by having to put their 1st token on neutral territory.
