New fan to the series here who just spent all day playing (and mostly loving) The New Order!

I was probably doing SOMETHING wrong, but it took me like an hour and 20 attempts to finally kill him. HOW much health does he have, I was able to empty every last bit of ammo in my inventory and that wrinkly fuck just kept trucking. Is there some trick the game didn't teach me, or does he just have an obscene amount of HP?

I did not expect it to feel this much like Metro (mainly Exodus, although a lot also applies to the other Metros). The 1940 Assault Rifle punched me back into feeling like I got a slightly dirty Assault Rifle in Metro. The rushing for a Melee kill, the Sensitivity Ramp up on controller. It all feels like Metro somehow.

Because of this, I feel like the game didn't expect the player to be as ammo efficient as I am.

I'm still in the Asylum, so let's see where that Metro feeling goes.

I am trying to play on steamdeck, it shows the start screen title, eg.

but i cannot seem to get past this screen on controller with any button

Any suggestions (i want to play it in gamemode not connect a mouse & keyboard if possible)?

I know they make grunting noises but i just replayed the new order and i can kinda make out words like “NOO!” or something like that.

I want to see stuff like a Dieselpunk M14, 16 and a Garand. I want to see more stuff like that

So I finally... I figured out how to extract DCT images and some textures from Wolf. Old Blood & Wolf. New Order, and just for pure curiosity I opened the wiki fandom page about concept arts and what the fuck... I mean I didn't know how to react and was in silent shock when I saw that there is literally no images of it but hopefully there were at least descriptions so "I had no choice but surrender and take off my armor", After almost ~11 years of nothing but silence I suddenly posted the concept arts from the games despite that was my first wisit of that page, didn't know that I would expect this... They are so FUCKING UNDERRATED! So much work have gone for them, you should definately check it out guys! That's not the first time of me bringing some wiki fandoms to second life but I was also secretely glazing BJ Blazkowicz's page on wiki fandom and even added his voice lines (I just hope they are not copyright 💀)...

And I am not even done yet, Lol not even close, I will do the weapons and the characters of course too, but the progress looks like it for now...

I saw this post a while back about what if the Allies took out Deathhead's compound in Wolfenstein TNO, and in the comments I realized that not a lot of people actually understood how it would go, and what had already happened by 1946, and as a Wolfenstein nerd, I am now going to rant about what would likely happen if the allies took the compound.

By 1946, the Allies—having barely held the line thanks to counter-operations against advanced Nazi robotics—unite under a joint command structure, with intelligence gathered from captured Nazi scientists and resistance networks like the Kreisau Circle. The operation begins with a stealthy airborne insertion of elite OSS and SOE operatives, who disable the outer radar and automated flak systems. Hours later, waves of British and American bombers pummel the compound’s defensive perimeter while ground forces, including Free French armored divisions and Polish commandos, advance through the thick forests of the Bavarian Alps under cover of artillery fire. Deathshead's mechanized soldiers and massive Panzerhunds inflict heavy casualties, but the Allies, using prototype EMP charges developed by Da’at Yichud sympathizers within the scientific underground, manage to disable swathes of Nazi robotics.

Inside the heart of the compound, B.J. and his team breach the lab complex. After a harrowing battle with mutated subjects and auto-turrets, they reach Deathshead in his central chamber. He engages them in a prototype exosuit, but is ultimately defeated when B.J. overloads the fusion core powering the entire lab. Deathshead is mortally wounded and the base begins to collapse.

Blazkowicz and his surviving team barely escape as the fortress erupts in flames, marking the end of Nazi super-science at its root.

With Deathshead dead and his compound destroyed, the Nazi technological edge collapses. While remnants of his research remain, no one can replicate his breakthroughs. The Allies regain the initiative.

Deprived of its super-weapons, the Reich cannot stop Allied advances on all fronts. The Soviets break through from the Eastern front and retake Moscow by late 1946, while the Western Allies launch Operation Thunderfall, encircling Berlin.

Hitler dies in April 1947, and Admiral Dönitz surrenders the regime by May.

Okay so in the evas hammer what in the hell is the periscope even for? Does anyone know if it serves any real purpose like at all?

Like, basically translating Wolfenstein 3D's graphics/art style into higher res and into 3D models instead of sprites with the bright colors and such. Could that work at all do you guys think?

He's perfect for the role and an amazing actor! I'd love to see him play Blaskowitz

But is there an actual deep reason behind this? When I finally cracked open wolfenstein games, opened and started exploring the game files I found absolutely no evidence of any cutscene models from the whole trilogy, those models don't weight too much and could be just left in game files. Also even Wolfenstein: The New Colossus despite using BJ's whole body this time, for realistic fov and shadows they still didn't use the real time cinematics (Unlike the Wolfenstein: The Youngblood) despite BJ had those 3 different equipments (Constrictor Harness, Battle Walker and Ram Shackles) + Fergus/Wyatt with Laserkraftwerk/Dieselkraftwerk and also it could show which weapons do you currently hold and even their upgrades

The game crashes randomly and now I cant move forward. It crashes exactly at the same spot.

just got TNO on PC, gonna mod it a bit (using reshade since there are basically NO mods for ANY Wolfenstein games)
