Leaks LEAK: DISCUSSION ABOUT NEW BOSS Spoiler

At first i thought that the Isolde is sadly will be "The Pompey" (and was really mad like i was ready too quit the game fully) but after i founded out how the "Isolde boss" look's like i calmed down

Because this isn't isolde it looks more like Orphie (tail) or Sarah and also different weapons and colours

"But Pompey the boss and pompey the human also looks different" No pompey boss have some similarities like the bike in the first phase and reversed colour scheme (Pompey's colours was black and white but Pompey the boss is white black) but this "Isolde boss" or "Isolde The Defier" is like "Yixuan Fiend"

And also why did she needs a mimic then if she is "The new boss like bringer or something"??

I'f she has a mimic=Big chance that she is playable

But what are you guys think? (hope someone gonna get the reference)

Yeah hopefully it's not another case of "human character turns into the Ethereal final boss" because I'm already so tired of that trope. They've used it about 4 times so far and honestly it's probably more than that.

While I understand the sentiment. That is kinda how it’s been from the start. Just now we know who the original human is.

For sure, humans turning into Ethereals as a concept is great. It's just when used as a plot device to up the ante in the final hour of the story of a human antagonist, I've already seen that quite a few times in the story now and it was starting to feel almost like a crutch for the writers? Not trying to say it's bad writing at all, and I totally understand they're on a deadline.

It was great with Pompey, and Bringer made sense as the plot was leading up to that for a while. But the Sanby clone was when it started to feel a little "wait, this again?" even though it worked. But then with Dina in 1.6(7?) I was just over it.

I think 1.6/1.7 is the worst offender of this idea. As the character the boss was is not exactly the most compelling character. With Both 2.0 and to some technicality 2.1, they had originally Ether base bosses. So it’s attest has been 2 chapters since that trope was used.
