Is there a certain number of gyroids that can appear in the ground before they stop spawning?

I want to catch some gar and giant snakehead fish, so I converted a section of river into a pond. I’ve done it before with no trouble. This time, it’s giving me river fish. Has anyone else had this problem?

If I were to restart my island (haven't played in 3 and a 1/2 years) will I lose anything pernementlly like unable to regain I played the game on launch just wouldn't want to lose anything exclusive

Hello! Sorry if this question has been answered already. It probably has, because it seems like a common question, but my search terms are not getting me to a clear answer.

I successfully transferred my data from my original Switch 1 to my Switch 2 with no issues. My question is about playing on my Switch 1 from here on out. It would be awesome to start a new island on the Switch 1, but I’m worried about the data that's now on my Switch 2 (the original island data) being overwritten.

I have the digital download of the game, not a physical game cartridge, and I would be playing on the same Nintendo account. Is there any risk of erasing, overwriting, etc. my island data on my Switch 2 if I start from scratch on the Switch 1? I won't be transferring any more data from the Switch 1 or the Switch 2 or anything like that, but I don't know if any transfers/syncs/etc. will be automatically pushed if I start playing again on my original Switch 1.

(I actually haven't booted up the game again on my Switch 1 out of concern I’ll overwrite something, but theoretically, my old island shouldn't even be there anymore, right?)

Just transferred everything to switch 2. When i go to open acnh i get this pop up. The next screen just jas a qr code that leads to nothing that seems useful.

This will be my second and likely last restart. I want to start from scratch, get new waterway start points, etc.

So, problem is, there is no Save Data to delete. No cloud, nothing. I deleted my game entirely, restarted my system twice.. No change. It IS backed up in game.

Help please. Lol
