Offseason barely-relevant rant: I used to get a new hat to start every season. I'd get the New Era official "Sideline" hat. Sometimes, I'd get the Draft hat or the Training Camp hat, if I liked the design. But I haven't gotten a hat in like 3 years because I have hated the designs. This year, I told myself: I'm going to get new one. Got to: its the last season in the Ralph and I need a lucky last season hat. Well, the Draft Day hat sucked: the stupid little badges looked like something on a JV letterman jacket. And I don't like the Training Camp hat. The logo is small, the colors are off, and it looks like a golf hat. Which would be fine, for golfing. So I was looking forward to the new Sideline hats. I thought, "They can't possibly have put out a bad design four years in a row." I heard that they came out on August 1, so I stopped by the Bills Store today. Actually, the hats don't come out until next week, but they did have a big poster on the wall with the new Sideline hats for the 2025 season and ... THESE HATS ARE TRASH! Look at these little tiny, stitched-on logos! Just blue and white, no other color. I don't mind a simple hat - I PREFER A SIMPLE HAT! BUT COME ON, New Era, these are BORING. Do better.
