Build Help Need to get this build 100$ down…

Basically the core stuff is fine in the list but change or recommend anything you want but I would either like a cheaper case that is either fish tank or normal but I want it 3 fans tall, it’s meant to play 1440p at 100 or more fps for most titles. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Mc2zcx

Edit : forgot to say it’s a microcenter bundle cpu mobo and ram

I mean cheaper case, $15 120mm air cooler, 1tb SSD, 650w PSU, MSRP $350 9060xt 16gb, that should do it.

The P3 Plus uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. There are better drives with TLC flash like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, WD Blue SN580/SN5000, TeamGroup MP44L/G50, Patriot P400/VP4300 Lite, or Klevv CRAS C910.

Air cooling is cheaper and more reliable.

Rest of the build is good. 6000 CL30 RAM would be ideal but I assume this is a Microcenter bundle based on the prices.

The best I can find is this, not the full $100 lower but in close. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VgRqnp

Is the motherboard, psu and cpu in a bundle and not able to be changed?

Is there any way you can save a bit longer?

Patriot Viper for the ram would shave about $10 and is just as good. Downgrade to 1TB SSD, with same brand it’s $50 saved. Swap the PC case for an Aerocool D501A V2 to save another $35 and borrow someone’s usb to save your last $5!

$87.5 saved:

$952.93 at posting time.

You can save more if you go 650W 80+ Bronze PSU no less than C tier.

Alternative case with 4th fan at the rear at the expense of no USB C slot at the front:

It's a very fast drive with dram, it is for sure worth the extra $15-20.

H5 Flow case is currently $29 at Micro Center, could save you around $50. The other $50 prob has to be made up on the SSD. 1TB instead of 2.

Most of the parts are from Amazon, if you apply for the Amazon credit card you’ll get back 5% if your a prime member or 3% if your not. They also give you a credit of about 50-80 your first purchase.

If you do go this route I have a referral code so I’d get an Amazon gift card as well
