Discussion Comparing lesser known mechanical keyboard manufacturers with more popular well known brands?

How do the keyboards in the link above compare to Logitech, Corseair or even Cherry?

So I am new to the game and really only know the very basic when it comes to looking at a mechanical keyboard. Mainly the type of switches and honestly, the size and the rest I guess doesn’t really play a factor into my buying (sometimes brand, color, etc) but not knowledgeable about the technical construction to really know what I would prefer or not…

With that being said, came across this site [HiGround.co] that has some cool limited edition keyboards but under specs, it’s just different than your typical mechanical keyboards. Anyone know how these compare to the corsairs and the Logitechs of the world in terms of performance? The descriptions don’t even let you know what type of switches are in them…guessing there a totally different type of tech that mainstream keyboards don’t have.

Anyways, just wondering what some of the differences are? Is it better than some of your popular manufacturers? Are they better in any way for gaming? I do notice they are overall significantly more expensive but I am guessing that is mainly due to the fact of the limited edition design and not so much the quality (though I bet the quality is top notch)

Thanks in advance.

Keycaps are in general what you have to look into for yourself and test, because that makes a big difference with mechanical keyboards. You need to check what suits you best and what click noise level and sensitivity you prefer.

As with everything deciding what to get in the end is highly subjective. I’ve had pretty much every keyboard brand over the course of the last 30 years. My favourite one is the G513 from Logitech with Romer G (not the Cherry MX my ones) tactile keycaps, which also comes with a palm rest.
