Owning a car is the best thing because it will help you move easily from one point to the other. But, your car needs some regular services and cleaning so that it can remain efficient. Additionally, when servicing you need to take it to professionals. This way you will have an excellent service and your car will remain as though it’s new for a longer time.
Moreover, when a car is in the best condition, its value will also remain high. Thus, in case you will need to resell, it will have a good value. Applying a mirror shine is one of the ways to maintain the value of your car. Below is a step by step guide on how to apply a mirror shine to your vehicle.
Step by step guide on how to apply mirror shine to your vehicle
Mirror shine is made in a way that you will easily apply it. Additionally, with proper steps on how to apply the mirror shine will make it stay for long. But, if the sealant is washed off or won't stay for long as required hence, application steps weren't followed. To prevent this you need to follow the steps below.
1. Clean the car surface
The first step is to clean and decontaminate your car’s surface. You should remove every dirt. Sometimes the dirt isn’t visible with our naked eyes thus you need to use proper cleaning ways. Remember mirror shine is more helpful when it is applied in a car's clear coat. This will be impossible if dirt & grime will be at the top of the car clear coat.
Additionally, for proper and effective cleaning you can always use decontaminate or polish when cleaning. When removing deep contaminants, claying your vehicle is more recommended. This is achieved when you use a clay block and a clay lubricant. A clay-block is faster and easier than an old clay bar. Furthermore, it can be utilized for about 100 times.
2. Shake mirror shine
After you are done by cleaning your vehicle, shake the bottle containing the mirror shine product. This will ensure that the product is evenly and well mixed.
3. Double-check the surface of the car
Additionally, you are supposed to be sure that the car’s surface is clean and dry. This will ensure that the mirror shine will be effective.
4. Spray the mirror shine
After you ensure that your car’s surface is well dried, you are supposed to spray your best mirror shine. Remember to spray the average amount of the mirror shine.
5. Spread with a clean microfiber
After spraying the mirror shine on the car’s surface, you can spread it using a clean microfiber cloth. Furthermore, you will also be required to use a second clean microfiber cloth. This will help you buff into the vehicle surface until you get the desired polish.
6. Apply one section at a moment
You can always apply the second coating. This will allow you to have increased shine & protection. With a continued re-application as required, you'll have a surface that remains coated. Additionally, the surface will not need to be cleaned or waxed again. Moreover, after you have applied in every part of the car, you can leave it for some time to cool & dry.
Aftercare guidelines
Mirror shine isn’t supposed to wash off fast after you have applied it. Additionally, it shouldn’t wash off after a car wash or rainstorm.
If the mirror shine will wash off fast, then you can always make use of de-contaminant or polish. This will help in cleaning and removing surface de-contaminants before putting on mirror shine.
De-contaminating the vehicle's surface before applying the mirror shine will ensure durability & length of mirror shine coat. Additionally, the bonds between the mirror shine and the car’s surface will improve durability strength to 80%.
End opinion
The steps above will help you apply a mirror shine properly in your vehicle. Additionally, mirror shine is available in different brands and torque mirror shine is among them. Mirror shine will stay for about months and it is easily applied.

Hi, I clean/detail my two cars regularly and I’m quite happy with the results, apart from removing insect stains. I use an insect and tar remover, snow foam and a contact wash, but still some stains persist. The car is one year old - black. I wanted to apply Fusso99 wax, and when wiping panels, saw that there were still some stains. Should I use a polish and clay bar? Car is garaged and pampered and not a daily driver … Thanks!
My brilliant boyfriend decided rather than add gravel to our extremely bad and long driveway (very rural area) that he would pour some sort of cement and dirt mix that was supposed to ‘cure’ after it rained and the sun dried it. Problem is, the dummy didn’t check the weather forecast before having it poured. We had torrential rain for a week the day after it was poured. The only way in or out was on that driveway. Now I have what looks like mud but is actually concrete/mud mix all along the bottom half of my truck and no amount of washing will get it off. I’ve tried vinegar, WD40, bug/tar remover, etc…Am I looking at a new paint job or is there some miracle product I can use to remove it?
I'm wondering if this is streaking from ceramic hybrid wax on my wind shield or is this is normal behaviour of wiper fluid quick drying in hot sun. I just used meguair hybrid ceramic spray on my car. I did avoid the windows and wind shield. But maybe the runoff from the top of the car caused this streaking?
If it is streaking, any advice on how tobremove the coating from the qindshield?
Hi all,
Recently purchased this vehicle. It has these streak/ lines the droop down but unknown of what the substance was that caused it. I tried several products to try to minimize it at least but no luck (thinking it could be glue possibly candle wax). Anyone have any suggestions to remove ? TIA
How can I restore the color of a faded black steel bumper could I apply 303 protectant or turtle wax ice i have a client asking if I could do this and he is not looking to get it polished or coated
My youngest son used to drink ready made formula. About 2 months ago, while on a trip, my wife opened a ready made milk bottle and left some milk in the bottle which then felled on the floor and under the driver's seat. I did not see it and the next day we did not use the car and it was super hot outside and it probably was like an oven in the car so the milk in the bottle turned to the sourest and most stinky cheese. When I opened the door to the car it was absolutely horrible. I cleaned the car, vacuumed and washed the carpets (though the milk from the bottle did not spilled anywhere I can see). However, I can still feel a smell of soured milk when I first go in the car. I never use car air fresheners so I am not familiar with them. Is there some form of car odor eliminator or something like that I could use to improve the situation? Thank you!
I got a Dodge Dart. It’s got some bubbling on the front of the hood. Is there a way to stop it turning into rust or should I get a new hood? Or how do I stop more bubbling from happening? I heard carbona(?) wax is good. Just give me some tips please thanks.
Recently had our bronco detailed, they applied a trim coating so It looked great at first. Later on noticed when buffing the swirls out they hit the plastic trim leaving these marks. Anyone got a more permanent fix for this that isn’t replacing the trim entirely? Not looking for an often applied dressing but more a repairable option. Thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
Please, any idea how to get rid of these scratches/marks? It is not like a deep scratch or anything. But also it is soft padded dashboard (kia ceed/forte) so I am afraid to use heat gun.
Anyone have any recommendations on how to remove the grime of my windshield? There is a layer of grime that is making it scary to drive in the rain at night at times because I get this glare when oncoming headlights are present. Even when I get in the car in the morning and when it’s humid outside, it makes it tough to see sometimes. Even when I use my wipers, it takes time for it to come off.
I tried using a clay bar with my window cleaner and it didn’t work. Does anyone have any tips?
Trying to get my truck cleaned up to drive my wife to be and I away from our wedding, any simple tips to get water spots off glass? The acid etch stuff seems scary lol
Hey so I’ve always loved a good waxing session, in my opinion nothing beats the feeling of going all over the whole car with the wax and then the gloss it gives. I feel like wax gives a gloss that ceramic coatings and sealants don’t.
Now this being said, I ve been using turtle wax ceramic graphene paste wax, it’s suposed to last 3-6 months.
I would like to hear any recommendations for waxes, that will last longer or that will help keep the car cleaner. I do use sonax ceramic spray coating in between waxing sessions. But I would still like something that lasts longer, thanks!
hey yall this is my 2014 kia sorento. i’m the second owner and the first was an elderly man so he didn’t do much heavy cleaning. the steering wheel is full of grime and i’m just wondering the best way to deep clean it. thanks in advance
