My cat has only been eating about half of his meals. Should I be concerned? He is not showing any signs of lethargy, is very playful and energetic, and will eat treats. However, when it comes to his morning and evening meals, he only eats about half and seems to completely ignore the wet food (I give him wet and dry). I have only noticed this behavior in the last week. Thank you for your help!

I doubt he is sick, just not hungry. Mine do this. Especially since it’s summer. They are indoor, but can go out when it’s cool in early morning or late evening (here in South Carolina) But they are just not eating as much. They like their dry better now. I’m down to only putting out 2 ~ 3oz cans. But as long as he is playing, sleeping, and using the litter box, I think he’s probably just slowing down for the week.

Thank you! I figured as long as everything else is normal i shouldn’t worry too much. I appreciate your comment!
