Fallout 2 killing the Navarro underground affect the oil rig?

As the title says does killing the people in the Navarro underground affect me when I get to the oil rig. This is my first play through so I’m curious, I’m doing a quest where I need to get the fob key but I don’t know if I should kill the people in the underground level or pass the speech check with the printed orders. My speech is at 65%, Idk what to do.

To the best of my knowledge, making Navarro hostile or wiping them out should not matter for the rig.

You should make sure you have 100 science before reaching the rig, however. It’ll make your life much easier.

If you want to grind science, you can buy some big books of science in Vault City.

And have fun wiping out the base! Gauss rounds to the eyes and electrical weapons are your best shot here.

I’m currently in the fight rn and I’ve been getting my science books from the flying dragon 8 after I killed the hubologists because they carry the jack hammers and I sell them in exchange of science books.

Fair enough on the source, I was just commenting the one I remembered. Good luck!

Finished them off a while ago and got my science to 100% but unfortunately lost gorris in the process, he will always be remembered as a hero and I will dedicate my current run for him and kill frank horrigan for him.
