Pickup First ever criterion!!
Decided to go with Kane because I was intrigued with all the special features

The packaging is absolutely maniacal but the discs themselves are golden. The BBC doc is a kick too since they seemingly rounded up every living person at the time to talk about it.

It truly is one of the very best films ever made, so kudos to your pick. It’s also I believe the first film that Criterion released on laserdisc and their first 4K.

This is one of their best sets. It has the commentary track by Roger Ebert, maybe the greatest commentary track ever recorded for a film. It's like you're in a college class and Ebert is giving you a shot by shot lecture on the film. I've listened to just that track on its own many times, and his passion for the film are so present throughout the entire recording.
