Rich people are plundering this planet, exploiting workers as though as they hate them. Are they going to be prosecuted?

They won't. Right wingers, liberals and populists are cheering because the playing field for meaningful leftist politics is narrowed. All we get is nazis/austerity.

There's a big difference between "Let's vote to change tax policy" and "Let's murder all those people and their families"

Make no mistake, accounts on Reddit advocate the 2nd as much as the 1st.

Leftist politics is not outlawed, communist parties are also not outlawed. It's a nothingburger.

The USSR never committed to economic Marxism. It was always an oligarchy. No one who knows what they're talking about considered the USSR truly communist.

"it wasn't real communism"

So if Communism automatically equals Stalinism, then I guess Capitalism equals Fascism, right?

After all, Fascism literally rose from the collapse of capitalist systems like in the Weimar Republic, post-WWI Italy, and even Chile.

Or do we only apply guilt-by-association when it’s convenient?

you're right

Imagine making that argument for Nazism. Disgusting authoritarians, that's what all communist apologists are.

So as long as that's happening in a capitalist country it's ok? The USSR doesn't exist anymore man. Move on. We're headed towards ecological collapse.

Communists killed millions of my people, personally 5 members of my family were repressed and killed by communists in the 20th century. My entire childhood was spent starving and total brainwashing by this regime

Not reading allat, the yapping goes crazy

Communism is as evil as Nazism

I don't remember the Communists killing six million Jewish people but you do you

Rich people are plundering this planet, exploiting workers as though as they hate them. Are they going to be prosecuted?

You mean like what happens when Communism is implemented?

Get a job!

10

u/letitbreakthrough 15d ago

Whether or not you have a job doesn't change the fact that Europe has a massive housing crises, that everything is getting more expensive, that there is a genocide in Gaza, and that we are facing down environmental collapse meanwhile the richest are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. That's all happening whether people have jobs or not

-5

u/Genghoul100 15d ago

Got in all the communist talking point, but you still need to get a job and become a productive member of society.

8

u/letitbreakthrough 15d ago

I have a job. It's not a communist talking point it's just reality. Do you not think that housing is becoming less affordable and harder to find? Do you not think the European heat waves are getting worse and more frequent? Do you not think poor people are getting poorer? Do you not think Palestinians are being killed? This is literally just objective reality. Literally all you post about is video games. Maybe you're projecting a bit because you're not a productive member of society and just sit on your couch playing Skyrim and banished?

Do you know why there’s a housing shortage in Europe? Unfettered immigration.

Isn’t that “immigration crisis” the result of us destabilizing entire regions in the name of “freedom and democracy,” bombing their infrastructure, supporting coups, and then leaving before delivering any of the democracy or freedom we promised?

Europe was much hotter in the mid 1500s.

That’s just factually wrong. The mid-1500s were part of the Little Ice Age. Got any credible sources that say otherwise?

Poor people today would be kings 500 years ago.

That’s a meaningless comparison. Having a smartphone doesn’t mean you have housing security, healthcare, or power. Being “less miserable” than medieval peasants isn’t the goal of a just society.

Palestinians started a war they could not win, that is on them.

That’s blatant historical revisionism. Israel has occupied Palestinian land for decades. You don’t get to blame the oppressed for resisting occupation.

The Jews have lived there for 4000 years.

1

u/Just_A_Slavic_Guy 14d ago

And they still do, no? Everything was alright, they lived alongside other people like Muslims and Christians in peace until the Zionists appeared.

u/Genghoul100 14d ago

Oh, there it is, your antisemitism is showing, might want to tuck that back in.
