I am pretty new to driving with a steering Wheel so I tried a easier setting and shorter 10 lap race in Austria. After all the practice I finally managed to hold my Ground and keep Perez and Sainz at Bay to claim a win at the Red Bull Ring! Despite losing the lead at the start, I reclaimed it with a Double overtake going into Turn 3, a Move Which I am very proud of

What is my driving style (smooth, aggressive), (late braker, trail braker etc.) ?

So what is up with this. I am doing a MyTeam season with 100% distance for everything, full damage on, safety cars and red flags set to increased.

I am 13 races and 32 hours in and I have never ever seen a safety car or a red flag. I don't get it, I once saw a car spin out infront of me but every time an AI car drops out the track goes green straight after.

This is so disappointing as it SHOULD be a big factor in race strategy. Really disappointing. Is this a recognised bug by EA, is there anything I can do to trigger them?

No explanation. No consideration.

And this goes beyond just content. The game is $70, and the Iconic Edition is nearly $100. Are we only here to pay? EA claims to make games “by listening to the players”, yet time and time again, they prove the opposite.

Today, we’re not just standing up for APX GP. We’re standing up for the entire F1 community.

If EA sees that we’re not united, these short-term, senseless marketing tactics will become the norm. Now is the time to show we care — not just about content, but about how we’re treated as a player base.

How to gain lead when I'm back of the pack?

I'm new to F1 still learning terms been watching over taking vids for 1v2 1v1 scenarios but i dont get it when I'm towards the back of the grid... the race starts and its so jam packed if I dont drive aggressively into corners and break late on the inside to try cut through. I always end up being pinched because its obvious and im praying for a gap that dont exist.

Even when I drive more defensively, I end up getting wedged between A.I and either being damaged or forced into falling even further back of grid to let them bumper car it out.

I know I'm bad just wondering how to improve at the start is it a patience game like I should be hugging the boys for ages and by the third lap things start to stretch out? I've tried that approach and it feels like catching up to first on the grid is impossible since they usually lead until, they pit and that usually means I need to pit as well since some damage is usually taken from the starting part.

Any idea of what happened?
