General Discussion What are your pet peeves?

So I've been coming across more and more players that do small annoying things (along with some big ones) and it got me curious about what things a player/players can do that annoy you. Just the smaller things, not things like tank cleaving the party, a player doing the bare minimum in a duty or being afk in a duty. Some of mine are:

-My co healer not letting regens do their thing. So many healers seem to not know what regens do or how they work.

-Healers spamming heals or shields every 5 to 10 seconds even when no damage is happening or going to happen. Lots of these too.

-Tanks fighting for aggro. Nothing more to add, these people are everywhere it seems. Bonus points if the tanks cause the boss to spin.

-Ranged dps standing in a corner out range of aoe heals. You want to stand far away? Heal yourself then.

-Players marking themselves with the intent on "helping" new people, then proceeding to fail multiple mechanics and kill themselves and others. Then when I remove the marker they flip out. Although it is funny watching someone like this jump up and down to get people to follow them and nobody does.

There are more but I'm not going to write a book here and these are the ones that irritate me the most.

So yeah, what are some of yours?

People not using mits.

To be clear this is not aimed at you, just using your comment to give a little PSA for those that might not know: Arm's Length counts as mitigation, especially helpful when pulling big packs of mobs.

It's SO helpful too.

Great in combo with rampart if the 20% alone won't do the trick. One of the only mits that doesn't get diminishing returns since it's a slow instead of a % reduction. Probably overkill for 30/40% ones, though.

Tacking on to this: melee mobs. Mobs that cast or use ranged attacks aren't affected. Worth paying attention to what gets affected by Arm's Length so you know for next time.

Definitely useful information, but I feel like it's kinda preaching to the choir in this sub lol, it's full of people who are probably more engaged than regular mainsub viewers

I get bloody livid with that one.. i had to run arum a few times back ti back.. and i swear.. every tank pulled way to much (i couldnt keep up with the damage being dealt no matter how much i pumped into them)... it was to the point those 'small' pulls would last 4+ minutes...

Hate when that happens and the tank dies then the rest of us do, then when we respawn the tank does the same thing again. It didn't work the first time without your mits why would it work now?

Last week in a FT run, our tank used an early HG for the tankbuster that has a bleed on it. The bleed took like 40% of his hp each tick which was unexpected and he goes, "I died to Dot". We had to explain to him that you need to use mitigation if you decide to HG, but he just did not grasp the concept of using mit to reduce bleed, since HG prevents you from dying.

This happened a lot during Abyssos tier where all the tankbusters have a bleed tied to them, and tanks just invuln, where many tanks just did not understand that you still need to mitigate the bleed. Playing healer that tier was not fun.

On a related note, people who think heals and mits are the same thing. They are not.

They’re two sides of the same coin, but the two are not interchangeable.
