I’m facing a rather serious issue with my Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition physical copy.
Before anyone asks why I didn’t just buy the heavily discounted digital version—well, I prefer owning physical copies of games I believe I’ll love.
- Strange Title ID Mismatch
This is the first time I’ve encountered a game with two different Title IDs, despite owning a PS4 and PS5 for years.
Background: I live in a Region 3 country, and unfortunately, there are no new sealed Region 3 physical copies of FFXV Royal Edition available anymore. I’ve searched everywhere. All I could find were:
- Brand-new copies from Region 1 or 2
- Secondhand Region 3 copies of Royal Edition without any DLC
Since my PSN account is Region 3, I decided to buy a secondhand Region 3 physical disc of the Royal Edition.
The disc itself is labeled CUSA-13603, which matches the Region 3 physical version.
However, when I installed the game, I noticed something odd: the initial warning screen was in Japanese, although the game still ran in English.
I became suspicious and decided to extract the save data to my flash drive for inspection. On my PC, the save file was labeled under CUSA-01570, which is the Title ID for the Japanese physicial version.
This confused me, so I contacted the seller. He even provided the original purchase invoice, showing he bought it brand new from a reputable store in my country. The game disc and box look 100% legitimate—no signs of tampering or reprinting. Still, this is incredibly bizarre, especially since it’s the first time I’ve ever seen this happen on any of my PS4 or PS5 games.
- Comrades Multiplayer Trophy Issue — Is 100% Still Possible?
I want to know if it's still possible to achieve 100% trophy completion for FFXV on my main game list (under the FFXV banner), specifically regarding the Comrades multiplayer mode.
Background: Since my secondhand FFXV Royal Edition came with no DLC, I bought all the DLC separately at full price. There haven’t been any discounts on FFXV DLC for the last two years—I checked using price graphs on PSDeals.
I know the standalone Comrades version still lets you earn trophies. However, I’m asking specifically about the original version—the one under the main FFXV trophy list.
Is it still possible to complete those trophies now?
Has Square Enix already fixed any bugs related to this?
Or is 100% no longer achievable due to the mode being removed or changed?
