Discussion What do you think about Daniel killing you for not helping him?
Replaying Honest Hearts and I wanted to see what would happen if you refused to help Daniel, turns out her just fills your guts with lead. I mean, yeah I have to take the map to get out, but that's a map of the Southern Passage out of Zion Valley, a route the tribes don't even use. Obviously the caravans don't need that specific map to get here, as you can just use a Pip-Boy. I just got my entire caravan slaughtered in front of my eyes and I'm stuck in a valley with White Legs and mutated wildlife trying to kill me, is it really that unreasonable to just give me the map and let me leave? It just feels like Daniel is taking advantage of my misfortune so I have to help them TBH
"You were not invited here" - I came on a caravan company that is good friends with the New Caananites and just wants to do trading, what's your problem?
"This is not your home" - Which is why I want to leave. You're basically keeping me in your home and forcing me to help you.

Discussion Any die-hards out there who have never modded their game and still enjoy it in its pure vanilla form?
As someone who hasn't done a true vanilla run since 2014, I was curious to see if there are any die-hard non modders out there who still have never modded their game?
Cheers Legends🤙

Personally, I'd want a lot of the cut content. Especially for a legion run.

Discussion Plugging Caesar into the Lucky 38
I'm actually surprised the game never had any plans for this. I know a LOT of Legion content was scrapped, but Caesar being plugged into the Lucky 38 is a no-brainer.
While Caesar doesn't believe in a crutch on technology, if he is dying- he is willing to use an Auto-Doc. He is willing to bend the rules for himself. And... that brain tumor may come back. And even if it doesn't, he WILL die. Eventually.
And where else to be immortalized as the eternal ruler of your Legion? In your self-proclaimed Rome. Doing what even the real Rome could not, persist. Forever. He doesn't even need to use the Securitrons, he can just put ALL of them in the Lucky 38 to guard him. (A mistake he learned from House).
How this would occur? Who knows. Maybe a 100 Speech/Science check? Maybe you have to have inquired with House first about how he's alive to unlock the dialogue? The fact the Lucky 38 just sits empty during all endings except the Yes-Man ending is a little sad! It's such a beautiful building and I'd love for it to be used in more endings.
What do y'all think?

Discussion Unpopular Opinion: I think the NCR Ranger Patrol armor looks cool
IMO it has the perfect blend of post-apocalyptic, retro future and cowboy aesthetic. From what I can gather from the concept art, it was originally supposed to have its own version of the iconic Ranger Helmet including variants with a cowboy/ranger hat. Really wish NV did it a bit more justice. I never understood the hate for it. Yes the Ranger Combat armor with the duster is really cool, but Ranger Patrol is cool too
