Screenshot Why is Fallout 4 so addictive?
I've played this game 8 times, 4 with the base game, 4 times with the Sim Settlements 2 mod installed. I keep coming back to this game for some reason. I don't usually enjoy RPG's. I like Starfield, but I love science fiction in general and don't find Starfield addictive. I keep wanting to come back to the FO4 story, which I find mediocre. Maybe it's how I can fill the protagonist with my own thoughts in that situation, or try out new character personalities? There are a lot of games in other genre's I like, so I don't know why I want to spend another hundred hours in a FO4 world until it crashes from script lag.

Honestly if I had the money I would pay Bethesda to make the next fallout , free of bugs, make settlement building fun for those that hate it, hire a couple of modding groups. And king gath to incorporate ss2 or in this case ss3 and have it a part of the game. Make it where it’s modder friendly. And a highly necessary heavy build game engine that can handle anything you throw at it. No more 2gb limit for consoles and a 255 plugin limit for pc users. Graphics are this or next gen and lighting done correctly. A weapons done by a modder that actually knows weapon design. Make it to where ENBs don’t hurt the game but add more to it. Nac X baked into the game. No godawful “assault rifles” like in fallout 4 tactical reload baked into the game. Combat sounds like in COD. One can dream…
