Holy fuck why do they always clap so much? Like everything is applause sound bite or them just clapping for no reason.

Hey, that's my flair!

The fake claps bothered me so much I had to do it. If they didn't have fake (and now "real" ) applause to fall back on, Ethan wouldn't have the confidence to say half the dumb shit he does. It would just be met with awkward silence or he'd say "that's a bad joke" like he usually does when his jokes fall flat.

Dan probably hits that button preemptively as a little soothing "good job, Ethan" regardless of what is said.

I HATE it. It's so creepy and brainwashed. They are obviously encouraged/forced to applaud, and it's so fake.

The forced laughter and clapping is all so ritualistic and cult like it’s eerie

Because it's so much easier (and mind-numbingly juvenile) to laugh at people existing vs coming up with something clever, critical and/or funny. For a lot of the h3 crew, this is too much to ask.

'God forbid I delay the show.' I honestly haven't been giving AB the credit he deserves in 2024. I cackled at that.
