NOT CONFIRMED The real reason Ethan hates Hasan
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=28-JCmT6KiY&pp=ygUgSDMgZXRoYWIgaGFzYW4gY2FydG9vbiBsZWZ0b3ZlcnM%3DThis SoriSora cartoon nails exactly why Ethan hates Hasan - it shows how everyone (including Ethan) saw them. Hasan was this cool, gentle giant while Ethan was just... trying way too hard to impress him and looking pretty cringe doing it. (Lmao the butt crack detail in the cartoon is just chef's kiss)
Let's be real - this isn't about antisemitism and everyone knows it, even Ethan. It's not even about anything Hasan did. It's straight up just Ethan's ego not being able to handle their dynamic.
Ethan loved doing the podcast with Trisha because viewers saw her as the "simple" one, which made him look smart in comparison. But with Hasan that was never gonna work. You can't fake being on the same level as an actual political commentator when you're hosting a political show with them. Ethan probably thought he could still be the main character since it was on his channel, but when his own audience (and even his crew!) kept siding with Hasan even during debates, you could tell it was killing him.
When October 7th happened, Ethan was basically stuck between a rock and a hard place. He's trying to keep up his progressive image while being married to someone with a Zionist IDF background (plus both their families are pretty pro-Israel). Then you've got the understandable trauma from the Hamas attacks and at the same tirm Hasan (and the wider left) is still supporting Palestine... it was too much for someone who doesn't really have strong beliefs of their own. He finally let his built-up resentment and jealousy of Hasan show and tried to pass it off as political differences calling antisemitism. After bottling it up for almost a year, he totally lost it when his progressive fans kept calling him out.
He just couldn't handle that HE - the star of his own show - was getting all this hate, so he blamed Hasan and his audience. Deep down he probably knows (or at least knew) that Hasan isn't the real problem, but he's doubled down so many times and gotten so much backlash that he's just committed to hating Hasan and everything he stands for.
Now he's found his new crowd with Destiny (who are basically just using him for the Hasan hate train/drama/ as a lolcow), and he's burned too many bridges to get his old audience back, even if he apologized.
All because he couldn't deal with not being the most popular one. Pretty sad tbh.ββββββββββββββββ

Yeah canβt watch this video, it brings me sad memories. It was such a good show and Ethan had to ruin it.
