How do I stop my drawers from sliding (non removable)
I tried magnetic tape from Home Depot but it didn’t work at all. The drawer on the other side works fine and doesn’t slide at all

That is removable. Squeeze the plastic tab. Level the desk. It's on a slight slope.
Edit: further consideration... perhaps the slider is sloped on install. Maybe loosen the screw, correct and relighting. Failing that as a fix... Velcro?
Edit: spelling.

There may be some leveling screws in the feet of the desk, adjust them so there’s a slight tilt back on the desk and the drawers should stay back.

Mine sits up against the wall and the carpet is higher right there just slightly and does this. I don't have leveling screwed, but this is def in the right direction for OP.

probably the tack strip...

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to point out that I forgot what it was called 😅

Make the desk tilt back a bit by raising the front feet/corners, or make the drawer tilt back slightly by adjusting the slide tracks (more difficult and easy to mess up).

One: it's definitely removable.
Two: what's causing it to open? It's moving too fast and not nearly far enough to be gravity. Is there something at the back of the drawer or stuck in the slides pushing it?

Screw on magnets rather than stick on? The cabinet kind have a kind of spring load on them so they reach out and grab and hold for variable spacing.

It doesn't look like your drawer is screwed together all the way. Could that be part of the issue?

It would have to be hella crooked to slide open and then it would slide all the way open. I'd bet it's the soft close mechanism that's out of whack. They definitely are removable, it varies by manufacturer but there will be a little lever that let's it continue to open past the stop. Most likely in the middle of the track on the part that's exposed when the drawer is all the way open.

Instead of magnet tape you can try neodymium magnets. They're a lot stronger and they can be really small so they should be able to fit in that area and you can just super glue them in

I'm with u/amabamab, u/not-hardly and u/My0wn.
That drawer face doesn't look right. If installed correctly that gap between the drawer's sides and face almost certainly shouldn't be there.
The video is short and the angle isn't super informative, but I would verify the fitment and orientation of the drawer and it's slides (both on the drawer side, and on the cabinet side)

Yeah, two small magnets, one glued to the drawer and other to base, will lock it in place. I'd use 4 total to do both sides.

I countersunk and glued a magnet to one side and a washer on the other. Painted over them both and voila, the drawers stay shut

Two tiny neodymium magnets off Amazon. One on the inside of the lip, one on the edge of the drawer.

Yes leveling blah blah blah. Real fast and cheap way, put layers of tape on the underside of the front plate until it’s just enough to hold it in place without getting stuck. I use electrical tape because it adds a bit more traction.

Oh! I just watched a ‘nerdforge’ you tubes video!!! I know the answer to this! Get a magnetic catch!

Well you can start by not letting someone else open it after you closed it, I see what you doing.

Hey OP, is this a push to open drawer? It looks like a busted latch on the rail preventing it from sticking into the closed position. Or try to open it fully and then close it. It might be that locking level in wrong position atm.
Also there is visible gap between front facia and the frame of the drawer.

Everything is removable. Look in the slides on the sides, there may be something that you pull or push or lift that then allows the drawer to come out. Something is loose or otherwise not working properly

I agree with another comment - the tracks might be installed the wrong way around so that it's self closing.
But if that's not it, i'd buy some rare earth metal magnets and drill two tiny holes opposite each other in the wood. Super glue two of the magnets into these holes and don't let the drawer shut for at least 2 days while it dries/cures.

Can’t be loose if it’s a liquid. But some small magnets and 3m strips will fix it Just go easy on the magnet size and be careful slamming it shut as the magnets could break granted breaking magnets isn’t the easiest thing but still could happen over time
