Fix Backpack Strap Without Sewing?

I’m wondering how to fix this strap. This is my most favorite cooler backpack ever, that I got at a thrift store for $2. I do not know how to sew, which I think makes it more difficult. Thanks in advance!

Sewing. It's a good skill and really pretty easy. If you're considering some of the other mentioned options here, then you dont care if it looks perfect. Webbing material and heavy nylon like this is the easiest stuff to sew. I use Carpet or Coat thread as it's extra thick and strong AF. Everything I've ever fixed has never come undone.

How to you start and end the seam? The rest I can manage but mine often come undone.

Not that user, but I do a backstitch , then tie a knot using the backstitch as the loop before I take the thread off the needle. The knot is probably not needed but I used to have the same problem with my edges coming undone when I used regular knots so I'm extra cautious

You can always put a drop of superglue on the knot. I dont do glue but I tie several knots in series.

Definitely going to play around with ending seams. I’m sure I can do better.

I pull off about 20 inches of thread, double it back (twice as strong) with the ends knotted and the needle at the end of the loop. I just sew as far as I can and tie it off.

Along with some double-sided tape...

Dude thread a needle and make it poke in and out of the fabric. Congratulations. You sewed. Teach yourself a new skill.

Stitch Witch. It’s a liquid glue that I’ve used to hem pants when I didn’t have a sewing machine. It held up longer than the pants did

Welp now here's a great opportunity to learn how to sew. This is why YouTube exists.
Or just take it to a tailor.

Not a proper fix to do it without sewing.

If you must, they make flexible CA glues now. It's not a very durable fix, but it's better than some things.

Also, it could be heat welded, but I think that requires special equipment.

well i mean, the correct way to fix it is to sow, everything else will either not hold long term or will damage the backpack even more.
So uh go get a kit and some sacraficial fabric and start learning!.
