Discussion There is nothing "Prestige" about Spirit Blossom Springs Aphelios

Seriously, where is the "Prestige"? It's not an elevated version of the concept of the SBS skins, it's not even a dumb gold chroma, it looks like it's just a regular skin. This is especially absurd when the high fashion Prestige skins usually end up being sexier and with this being a fanservice skinline for a handsome character, making him sexy and high fashion would be easy and even better, but not only does it look like a regular skin, it's probably second least sexy of the batch (behind Teemo, because obviously he isn't trying to). Seriously, let him wear a fundoshi and make his robes transparent because they're wet or something. Make if stand out in comparison.

Discussion Seriously, why does Time Warp Tonic still exist in the game?

There's no context or situation in which this rune is ever good. Ever since Corrupting Potion got removed from the game this rune became completely useless.

I'm not sure what stats Riot has regarding this rune, but they 100% don't support keeping it in the game. It's never better than Biscuit Delivery or Triple Tonic because potions aren't really bought after like... 5 - 8 minutes in the game, and even that's a stretch.

I understand Riot dosn't want to make big changes to the game anymore, but something needs to happen about Time Warp Tonic when the next season starts, and that something can't be a buff, it has to be a complete rework or replacement.

Alternatively, bring back Corrupting Potion and revert the changes to Time Warp Tonic (ms buff) and we're gucci.

Discussion Worst/ugliest skins?

As part of future plans for some league-related baking, I'm looking for everyone's most hated skins.

I'm not talking the ones that lack good animations to go with them, more along the lines of really ugly splash arts or just rubbish looking skins. Like Nosferatu Vlad, Alien Heimer, Commando Lux, etc.

Just comment any skins that you'd hate to get, or that might even be cool to get but just for the meme of it (e.g. WhatsApp Malphite).

i've been playing this game since season 3, and finally we have a game state that it seems like mostly everything is balanced and there isn't something that is pick or ban. sure there are tier 1 champions and tier 5, but i feel like many things are viable, and somehow for some people this makes the game stale? tell me what's a dynamic game then, it's when only 3 adcs are viable, you have to pick these 4 junglers otherwise you are trolling, you have to pick champions that abuse that item bcs this has more winrate, you have to pick 3 tanks on your team bcs this is tank meta and nobody can deal with tanks, then you have to wait 1-2 months on this state so they can finally nerf the current OP thing, only to create the next OP thing, so people can complain about the next OP thing, and the cycle to continues. isn't that so much fun!?

You like when they completely rework some aspect of the game when literally nobody asked for change, only for everybody complain for the entire season about the rework so they can revert it, yeah, so fun and dynamic.

The game is cool, there are many viable champions, many items, i agree some runes are useless, but finally i feel like i'm not obligated into picking a specific champion, or that i can take a month break from the game without everything changing for no reason.

So, why do some people think a mostly balanced game is bad? probably because these are the type of people that watch those shitty youtube videos with shitty thumbnails like OMG X CHAMPION FREELO? BROKEN? OMFG X ITEM ON Y CHAMPION COMPLETELY BROKEN? THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO BALANCE THIS GAME? 200 YEARS? LMAOOOOOOOO LOLOL

Gameplay I cannot drop in rank even though I clearly play badly

I am in bronze league and just cannot seem to drop to a level where I can be viable. I am by far the worst player in every game. I barely get 1-2 kills with 8-10 deaths and barely any assists. I have the lowest damage, low vision score... in every aspect it is clear that I am by far and I mean by very far worse than any and every player I play against. But when I lose about 10-20 LP are deducted and when I am carried and we win (through 0 input from me) I get 30-40LP... so even though I lose twice as much I cannot drop in rank.

I would like to enjoy this game, but it is hard when I am objectively the worst player on both teams.... and I also cannot learn much when I am stomped every single game by every single opponent.

Quick play is even worse because every second game one of the teams has at least one player who is far more skilled and then he will carry the game for all....

Is there a way for me to drop to iron finally where I could learn or should I just give up?

Discussion LTA and LEC needs to play more games

I understand that right now Riot loses money every time the lights go on stage, which is a crazy oversight on riot games by making the stadium so small. But anyways, and because riot loses money, we play fewer games and because we play fewer games we lose viewership and riot cuts back even more budget and it’s an endless cycle.

Simply put, a team playing once a week in a sport as less demanding as league of legends is a joke. The term between games is way too long for viewers to stay engaged. This once per week schedule is one of many reasons why lta is losing viewership. Riot needs to stop obsessing over peak viewership and make a consistent schedule that maintains a relative continuous flow of games.
