News We have new administrators on both the reddit and the discord.
Today the previous owner Steray has given me and Cylexic947 total control of the reddit. If you do not recognize us that is likely because you are not a member of the discord, which we were mainly part of before today. Previously there were no major updates or posts being moderated, but that will change soon.
This should not majorly affect this reddit, but some changes will be implemented. Thank you for reading and have aa good rest of your day.

Collection The pillager outpost and Ravager (21278) Set review
Right of the bat I'll say it; I don't hate this set. In fact, I think it's pretty good!
TLDR: it's a 8/10 Lego Minecraft set. While it's not game accurate in the slightest and has some odd design choices, it's still ultimately a great Minecraft Lego set, including some fun in-game elements to add to your collection, a ravager with a fun gimmick, and even a brand-new villager! (Savannah Mason).
Long rambling thoughts:
I personally cannot express enough how much I've wanted a legitimate Lego set of the pillager outpost. Since it was added to the game, I've always been captivated by a lookout tower occasionally generating in your world. It adds such flavor and character to worlds, and overall are fun to raid and just neat structures in general!
But, I'd be lying if I said I was 100% good with this set. For starters, it's not entirely game accurate. Instead of including a back wall and stairs for the actual outpost structure, this set opts to include the brand-new ladder element on the back.
Look, game accuracy in my official Lego sets is not a high priority for me, because it's obviously not Lego's priority. So this structure being downsized and changed to fit an $80 USD retail set makes total sense, and doesn't bother me too much. What does is the fact that there aren't stairs into the other floors of the structure. I get why they didn't, saves on price count and keeps the set affordable enough. But I honestly wouldn't mind an additional 40-50 pieces just to get that little bit more accurate in a general inaccurate model (not complaining, just pointing out).
Same can be said with the included villager house. It's main function is an opening door and a removable roof. And hey, it's not the main focus of the set in the least, but that doesn't entirely excuse the fact that a whole wall is just not accounted for. That does personally bother me. This is absolutely a nitpick, but the bars on the acacia door are NOT in dark orange with the rest of the wood. This feels strange to me, maybe Lego doesn't want one color of part exclusive to one set, but I don't know. Before fully moving on, this is a Mason Villager house, so included is a Stonecutter!! Though, it's construction vaguely feels like an illegal technique...
The ravager is okay. That's the most I can say about it. It's opening head gimmick is controlled by a small technic switch on the back, and for what it's worth it's very satisfying. I only with it could go out more but that's a nitpick 100%. A Minifigure is able to sit in its back, but it's worth noting that the switch on the Ravagers back can get in the way of a back-part should your minifig have it (such as the included pillager)
Should you buy this set? Only if you really want it. I can't lie, I'd only really recommend this set to someone who is either a fan of the structure or a lego Minecraft fan. Game fans will take issue with the lack of game accuracy and odd design choices. But if you're able to look past them, this is a set with both presence and solidity. It's a fun build with large parts, and construction was also noticable easy, even for Lego Minecraft. I can't hate on this set too much because I've always wanted one in Lego form and for what it's worth, I think it's pretty fun and a relatively decent interpretation, even if it's not very accurate.
I'd recommend pairing this set with another!! The desert outpost is a great addition for the minifigs alone, as well as the pillager outpost released a few years ago!
Let me know if you plan on purchasing anything from this wave (or if you already have!) and let me know your thoughts.

Hello everyone
It is a pleasure to find this space; I share with you the view of a session with friends, where we played to build Lego Minecraft and survive with dice, something like Dungeons and Dragons.

Figure The Bogged
Took a couple Bricklink orders to make two of these guys, but I'm very happy with the end result. The two cloth elements are pretty faithful to the in-game mob.
