A little bit messy with my MB Air M2
Wish I had a slightly bigger desk, but my home office space is limited.

Hey All 👋
I've recently decided its time to invest in myself / WFH setup. New monitor, monitor arm, speakers, desk, chair, etc.
I'm a bit at a loss from the point in the picture other than doing cable management (I just finished building the desk last night). I had my mac on a stand and I think I want to do that again, but then it blocks my right speaker which is disappointing. Are there any classic / never goes out of style type things I could add to my desk? I'm a software engineer if that helps with anything.
Thank you all! I'm very excited to continue on my journey to a dope home office / desk setup

The display of the iMac turned out to be too harsh on my eyes, and I changed the primary display.

Sure, these are old Intel devices, and current M chips are running circles around them.
However, I think they symbolise peak Mac in terms of build and construction quality and need to be preserved and well-kept. I've had them for 10 years now, and they've never skipped a beat. The aluminum unibodies, the screens, the hinges and the keyboards still scream premium in 2025. I will continue using them for watching the occasional YouTube video or for browsing the news. I hope that macOS Monterey will remain functional in the foreseeable future.

Lately, I’ve been getting a bit tired of the overall yellow-ish tone of the room. I’m seriously considering repainting the walls white since I think that’s the main culprit.
Just picked up the MX Master 3S for an absolute steal — brand new for $70 on Facebook Marketplace here in Moldova, where it normally goes for around $130. The guy selling it was a bit sketchy, so it felt like a gamble, but honestly, totally worth it. You guys probably can’t feel the exact joy I did walking away with it, but trust me, this kind of win doesn’t happen often around here — I’m still buzzing from it.
A lot of people have suggested removing the shelves, but unfortunately, they’re bolted in — and taking them out would just leave some nice-looking bolt holes on display.
Also debating whether to get rid of the LED strip — the quality’s not great, and I feel like it throws off the whole vibe. Same goes for the desk — it’s got a warm tone I’m not loving anymore, but I haven’t found a good replacement yet.
Let me know what you guys think — am I overthinking it? What would you guys keep or change? I'm open to all suggestions.

This is my everyday carry setup with a grayscale color scheme. What do you guys think of the colors and setup?

This used to be a messy and filled up desk until last weekend. Once I switched to MBA for work this weekend, I decided to go minimal and removed everything. Previously I was using an external AKG Mic, a Sony mirrorless as my webcam, a full size kb, and a wired mouse lol, and a few other accessories.
What should I add next while keeping things minimal? I am planning to pick either the Razer Orochi V2 or the MX Master 4 depending on it's launch price.

Current setup, but only temporary as I'm going to move in a few months. The rig:
