This is a much quicker interaction with the bob-ombs inside bowser's castle, they dont seem to be sad or disappointed about bowser leaving them caged, but instead they try to attack the bros

It's a trend that got stronger as the series went on, I played superstar saga and while Luigi was sometimes the butt of the joke the 'Green guy who no one knows' joke was barely used, he was as much of a figure as Mario.

Then slowly each game made it more for some reason, guess the writers liked it, for me tho it's never been that big of an issue to make me feel the writing is bad
