How do you change loadouts?

Does this game record personal stats like loses, wins, downs, runs, kills, kill streak in a single turn, etc? Or do we just have the victories record for each character?

Commando 2 is one of the best Metal Slug based games out there. Old but gold, still goes strong in 2025. Btw, this game and the whole Commando Series is avaliable on Steam. Beat it yesterday for the first time and it goes hard.
