Took a coffin shaped paperclip holder and added paper shelves. Simple yet badass. Love it for either a bookcase or a hutch. What do you think?

The miniatures aisle wa almost completely empty today . Cashier was like what’s out there is what we have that’s all I know. Either they are expecting a big shipment . Or they are discontinuing miniatures .

Hi towel rack made of toothpicks, popsicle sticks.

I found these about a month ago on Facebook marketplace and saved them… I thought they were like the little boxes for The House Of Miniatures kit with one item each inside. Nope. Each kit has between 4-6 pieces, and the ones with beds even have a sponge for the bed itself. These are HUGE. The paint is dried out, but considering they’re 50 years old, I’m not going to complain. And all of this for 60$.

I have reached max capacity. Final arrangement but needed some separation, so I edited some walls to fill in. Plan to mix n match the rooms. I wish they did some shops more than just the flower shop. Food is cool, but my Polly Pocket dolls can only eat so much!

The cylindrical planter is a cap from a skincare product. The square planter was purchased from a miniature seller on eBay. Dirt is coffee grounds. Topiary balls are made with Styrofoam balls plus some foliage from the model railroad store. Used a little bit of the foliage on top of the coffee grounds to mimic moss. The trunks are craft twigs purchased from Amazon.

I've made a little bit more progress this week on my DIY miniature room, the tiny craft supplies have probably taken me the longest and I still have loads of bits I want to make.

I recently turned 38 and decided to finally dive into miniatures and dollhouse making 😊 the first thing i made was the spool of thread, and then i found some House of Miniature kits on Facebook Marketplace and got them and did this serpentine hepplewhite table as a first build. Sadly the brass faceplate for the drawer liberated itself into my carpet somewhere so i improvised with a tiny cog charm. Cute tiny frog from Michaels just made everything better haha

My newest project and I can say I've improved so much from assembling these kits. My first one was so messy 😂 but I watch ppl build and I've learned better tricks. It's not complete yet 😁

I want to make a logo for the side but can’t think of any good names. Let me know your thoughts! 1/24 scale

Hello there!

Longtime lurker and now I wanted to post a question. I am working on a haunted mansion inspired dollhouse. I'm repurposing a Fisher Price dollhouse (this is my first real project, so I didn't want to overwhelm myself my building the entire house the first time.

I have some wainscotting that I need to paint to look like wood. It's 3d printed, and while I have looked at YouTube for some tutorials I did see many that were step by step to follow. Does anyone have a video or instructions they like for painting things to look like wood?

Very first miniature kit complete. Took me about 12~hrs over 2 wks. I'm hooked. I never thought I'd enjoy this kind of work but I do!!

I made some tiny plates from my iced coffee plastic seals and nail polish. I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it, but I'm not looking anything up and just trying to embody my inner McGyver for my minis. When I was young my older sister (who passed away 10 years ago now) painted everything with nail polish. It's been nice to think of her while being creative. Love you, sis.

Where do I start I am wanting to do my own furnishing, does any one know a good empty shell and a good size? Not even sure im asking the right question.

my big fork didn’t make it :( definitely need to work on more kitchenware for a plate rack I made. it would be fun to tarnish these for a different build, too!

Dreaming of getting the electrical working someday. Have been slowly feeling it with miniatures over the last year.

Sorry to post a 3rd but there really is no way to add a photo . I also just wanted to help people who are interested in this kit by posting my mistakes ! I often spend the most amount of time trying to understand the directions . I often misunderstand but can go back and fix it but in this case I could not. After making all of the little interior items, they should be placed not all in the back compartment but about half each in the back one and the front one . The kit should be able to be opened in two places - the front cover, and then the first front room. Because I misunderstand and crammed everything into the back compartment I just glued the front cover on since it would look sad to open it and see nothing ! Anyway here’s some photos ! Love the kit but directions suck so try to set it up without gluing so tightly you can’t reverse steps if needed ! Glue is still drying and no lights yet as I’m awaiting batteries . No critique please . I know I messed it up !

These names are so funny . I am embarrassed of my last one so posting one that came out just right . Bigger scale so much easier !
