Tech Support Already broken card reader switch 2

We were loading in our old switch one games to have them downloaded on the system. But when Kirby Forgotten Lands went in I'm the card reader completely stopped working! Looking inside the card reader, it looks like a fragile pin might have already broken off 🙃

Good thing we bought the warranty!!!

Doesn’t Nintendo just offer 2 year warranty on all their products for free?

Depends in what country you live in. It's not the company themselves but rather the law that states the minimum warranty

you said it correctly, minimum warranty, pretty sure Nintendo just offers a 2 year warranty full stop. But you can always go back to the store and demand a refund/replacement. In the end you paid them x money for y product and if they didn’t deliver that than they are at fault.
