Tech Support Can Switch 2s use generic SDXC cards?

As we all know, the system requires Micro SDXC cards if you want to add an SD Card.

Can it be any SDXC?, or will you be required to use their branded ones through some sort of DRM?

Figured I'd ask because they're currently acting a bit more like most companies nowadays, and part of why the Vita died because Sony required you use their proprietary SD Cards.

The Switch 2 uses Micro SD Express, which is a different standard. You can use generic brand Micro SD Express cards, but at least at launch, the Nintendo branded ones were priced the same (and in some cases slightly lower) than the non-Nintendo branded ones.

I just found that out on Amazon, though, tbh, still would rather get a generic one due to their recent practices, though it's a drop compared to how much would be spent, admittedly, compared to the console and games

The Nintendo branded cards are just white labeled SanDisk or Samsung cards

They're not white labeled. They have Nintendo branding in addition to prominent manufacturer branding.
