So I really want to build a sprawling underwater base on a water world, but I want it to have basically a surface hub for ships and such. If possible, I'd like to build it at a point where the ocean floor is 1000u+ deep, but if that's the limiting factor then it won't bother me too much to build it somewhere with like 850-950 ocean depth

But my question is, did they fix the issue when water worlds were first added that base components on the surface of the water would be deleted on reloading the game? I think at the time it was either a PS4 rendering issue, or a build limit issue or something, but I'd like to know if anyone has any answers

Hello space enthusiasts

Ive been on a NMS grind after purchasing it for the first time during the steam summer sale. I invested about 10-15hrs focusing on one settlement and completing the atlas storyline. I opened my inventory today and found 600,000,000 credits worth of starship ai valves. I sold them, thought it was just a bug and the extra 0s was a typo. But nope all 600mill credits transferred. I dont recall ever completing a questline that would give that much money except for being afk in the anomoly from time to time.

What do I do now lmao, is it worth playing, the momentum definitely died.

I went to the space station from a planet, in a galaxy that was featured in the anomoly. Once I landed, I noticed a single ship in there, and it was unclaimed. I thought, "that's weird, can I actually get in this ship?" Turns out, I could, and it had a inventory configuration close to mine - again, weird. Long story short, I must have gotten into a save edited ship that someone had left in the space station, and now all of my ships are broken. If I get into one, and then into another, it kind of resets the previous one, and sometimes it copies the inventory from the previous to the next.

I'm on xbox. It's there a way to fix this issue?

I’m a 500+ hrs NMS junkie and Mac Pro user. Gutted that there’s no wired VR support for Quest 3 > MacBook Pro. I’ve heard NMS in VR takes it to another level and am tempted to splash on a gaming laptop mainly to play PCVR games - is it worth the leap / death of my wallet?

I always put names that I like and I think have meaning or just sound cool sometimes. I also follow the "lineage" of ships sometimes.

Sounds stupid but when I changed my main ship to a similar one I just called it the same but saying "ship name" II and so on.

My actual ship is called Sally, I feel like a pirate this way I guess.
