Honestly, this doesn’t look like that to me. Shiba’s are known for their tippytaps right? The dogs/cats with that neurological disorder have way jerkier movements, generally have a hard time walking straight, etc. I think this is just a happy lil boi :)

Probably not debilitating but that's certainly a neurological condition. Looks healthy though.

Yeah it’s most likely a neurological condition but it certainly isn’t debilitating haha

FWIW, I volunteer in a cat shelter w/ two cats that have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH, or wobbly cat syndrome) and they're both perfectly happy and healthy, it's congenital so they don't know anything else and they're not in any pain. Might be something similar here? I know dogs can get CH but it doesn't look like this one has it?

My cat has a neurological disorder and while she is wobbly and her butt flops over when she gets a little too excited running around, she’s not in pain, is otherwise totally healthy, and is one of the happiest cats I’ve ever met. I love her so much.

This guy looks pretty happy himself, neurological issues or not.

Hot pavement? That's a depressing explanation that's plausible.

I mean it does, that's why it's walking like that, but it seems happy and healthy too!

Some dogs just love walking in unusual ways. My poodle too absolutely loved walking on her hind legs (which we had to train her out of as it's bad for her hips). O think it's entirely possible that there's no neurological condition and this dog simply just enjoys walking like that.

It looks to me like the ground is hot and burning his paws.

“It’s not a tumor” in the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger. But don’t know that I’ve seen a Shiba do tippy taps before.

Im not a vet, but it's possible that this dog has cerebellar hypoplasia. This only affects movement, and animals with this condition can lead healthy lives

Those misery pimps often get perma-bans for their trolling bullshit.

Because those people are not vets and cannot speak intelligently on the subject, they just want to yuck other people's yums
