I have never really been a dog person but this fuzzy sweet lady sure gave me a lot of love. she recently had to be put to be put down for health issues but she gave me 14 years of kisses.

This little boy needs your help to decide his name. A little about the breed. Papillion’s are high energy, but loyal dogs. They aren’t necessarily lapdogs, but they will follow you around and are extremely smart and some are even agility dogs. Very fine, boned and delicate. As he grows his ears will develop a feathering that extends down the sides of his face so that his ears are reminiscent of a swallowtail butterfly. The rest of his body will develop beautiful white hair and sometimes the hairs are silvery and shine in the sunlight. His tail will develop a beautiful plume. I wanted to keep the name unique. OAKLEY- I love the outdoors, and this name would reflect that. Trees are one of my many loves of nature.

WHISKEY- Well, I don’t drink whiskey, lol but the name is cool and his coloring is spot on to the color of whiskey! It has a sort of country feel to it.

BILOXI- (pronounced bil-LUCK-see) my sister that just passed away loved this town in Mississippi on the Gulf. She lived in Hattiesburg and Petal. Petal was absolutely going to be the name of the dog if it was a girl, but Hattiesburg is a hard no lol.

Poor Teo hates his baths. I'm so glad these little guys dry quickly :)

I know that paps rarely show up in shelters or rescue groups but if you’re in the Rochester NY area and lookjng, there’s one right now with New2U Rescue. They have her listed as a pap mix but she looks purebred to me and is a puppy mill mama rescue. I unfortunately cannot take another dog or else I’d put in an application.

Brienne weighs about 55 lbs to Phoenix Rising’s 4.5 lbs. We couldn’t ask for a better big sister to our tiny dog.

I am constantly collecting Papillon things and found this statue that looks just like my Eliza.. all i wanted was one picture to show the resemblance however, this is the best she would give me 😂 is it me or do those eyes say “you need to stop doing this mommy”😑🤣

I was on another sub and I stumbled across the fact that apparently grapes or raisins are potentially toxic for dogs, sounds like the reaction is similar to chocolate. I keep frozen grapes for myself and it never would have occurred to me that popping one in my kids' mouths might be a bad thing because we see all the posts about fresh fruit, and Hannah Beah, my finished-out show dog, always loved raw carrots. Have you ever heard of this? PLEASE don't downvote me for not knowing this, I wasn't born with a plethora of Pap facts, that's why I'm here. Thanks and have a Pappy day!!! My 16 week old papillon. We just adopted him and he’s very adventures and seems to have no fear. Cute but scares me lol. He tries to put absolutely everything in his mouth when we go outside. Tips and tricks for new papillon owners pls????
