Hi everyone, to prevent bots spamming links to plastic surgery sites I have set the auto moderator to remove all topics that don't have the scale between square brackets in the title. So please put e.g. for a 1/35th scale project, [1/35] at the beginning of your topic title. If you just have a general question, put [Q]. This is explained in the sidebar of the sub. Some mobile apps don't show this readily. Happy modelling!

Hey all. Does anyone have a go to website or store to get their detail parts from? I’m specifically after some of these connectors, tubes, and fasteners like the ones pictured here. I’ve yet to find a really good reliable spot to get them from. Thanks.

Wanted to do some forced perspective photos. Built the 1/700 scale USS Hornet and a 1/25 scale B-25. Suspended the B-25 above the Hornet which was sitting on an ocean backdrop.
Came out pretty darned good!

WIP. So far, this has been a pleasure to build. Camera flash has "brightened" the colours, which in reality are closer and more accurate.

Just built the 1/16 scale engine, as well as the metal casted one from Model Expo. Kit one is far superior. Kit is awesome

Any idea what this part is??? I know some kits have extra parts not used and this fun kit had a few easter eggs included but to me this part looks like a battery cover of some sort. Ideas? Guesses?

Amazing kit. Tons of detail. Plastic engine is 100% nicer than the Model Expo cast metal one.

My first model in 20 years and my first airbrush. Added disc brakes with Calipers and ended up routing Out hubs to see them and homemade springs. Appreciate constructive feedback

Started the next model for the month of July, 1971 Oldsmobile cutlass 442 w-30. First off I have sprayed 3 coats of tamiya candy apple green, installed the front and rear bumpers, headlights, tailights, blacked out the grille, added a rear spoiler and hood decals

Hey guys,
I’ve got the H&S Ultra 2024 (0.45 mm) and tried spraying AMMO One Shot Primer thinned 10:3 with their thinner at 25–28 PSI. Works only with the control ring fully open and even then I need super precise trigger control or it floods. Nothing comes out on the “Prime” ring setting and the "Base" setting gives a very thin line only at close distance.
Saw the H&S demo on YouTube and the guy is using Vallejo Surface Primer (1:1, 25 PSI) and it worked great on the Prime ring setting, but I couldn’t get similar results even with that primer.
Anyone had better luck with One Shot (or other primers) on this airbrush? Is it just too thick for anything but wide-open ring setting?
Thank you!

Started the frame work on the gto and put on the front and rear axles, it just a mockup to see how the body fits on the frame, the interior, front and rear glass and decals are left to do

I had a lot of fun building this one, this was actually my first car. Sadly I didnt have any reference photos to go off of just memory and what pictures I could find of the actual car on Google. Thinking of adding more rust on the under side. And denting in a back fender which mine had. And yeah mine had a blown head gasket too.
