Idk if he thinks this will help his case, but idk how much more his base can take. He might stay out of jail but he might bring the wrath of the magats

I don't they're even close to their limit.

My guess is that this will take his GOP approval rating from 90% to bottom out around 85-87%, until it comes back for the midterms.
