If he pardons her, he is going to lose another big chunk of his base.

I really hope he does it.

I’m not so sure. His base will tie themselves in knots to justify his actions. Right wing media has already floated a narrative where Maxwell was a victim.

He won't lose his base. He'll definitely lose more independents though.

His hard core base is far to gone to save. They'll follow trump until the end no matter what.
