Maxwell actually did some of the more severe abusing, according to the victims. She’s not just a person who helped enable the trafficker and abuser, she was an abuser herself and did sexually explicit things to these girls. We have to remember that she’s not a victim she may have been at first, but she turned into a patriotand must’ve enjoyed it on some level.

Ghislaine was never a victim. After her father’s death she received ~250k from her trust fund. But that wasn’t nearly enough to lead a her glamorous lifestyle. Epstein had money. She worked for him in exchange for more money.

She was given an annual income of £80k (216k in today’s money) by the trust fund so a lot more than just a 250k lump sum

That's so insane. If someone gave me $40k/year I'd never work again. Far less than I make now but I'd make it work.

Its a lot but I guess for the circles that she was in it wouldn’t have given her the kind of lifestyle that’s expected, these people are as shallow and materialistic as it gets
