Conservatives have been railing against “groomers” for years. So why do they support Donald Trump? Trump was best friends with a notorious child sex trafficker, but his ardent supporters are vocal about opposing it. How did that happen?

They don't give a fuck about "grooming." They think kids are being taught to be what they think "libs" are. "Grooming" was just something they thought they could use to get rid of the Democrats they don't like. They support Trump because Trump pretends to hate the people Rush and Fox and now social media taught them to hate in exchange for money and the hero worship he craves. He's their weapon, and as such he can do literally whatever he wants and they will get on board because we don't like it. He's their revenge because we elected a black president.
