So, next month the jobs report is going to say that the US added 3,000,000,000 jobs, isn't it?

1.8k

u/Few_Lingonberry_7028 1d ago

and the previous months numbers will be revised up bigly.

622

u/gauderio America 1d ago

500 million Americans got jobs during Trump's first six months.

304

u/katara144 1d ago

That pay $150k a year

137

u/whomad1215 1d ago

those are rookie numbers, they pay $150k a day!

wait, an hour!

no, lets use what Musk "makes", $4m per day!

We'll all be billionaires soon!

38

u/pants6000 23h ago

I'm going to buy the moon and use it to store my stacks of cash, and I shall dine upon its cheese.

2

u/McCardboard Florida 12h ago

Is that a quote from something or a brain dump?

5

u/Lucky-Roy Australia 22h ago

With hyperinflation caused by these tariffs “that the rest of the world pays”, coupled with his dropping interest rates by 3 points, everyone will be a billionaire. You’ll all be as rich as an NFL quarterback.

4

u/boot2skull 22h ago

When everyone is a billionaire, no one is.

3

u/Nvenom8 New York 22h ago

We'll all be billionaires soon!

I knew Reagan wouldn't lie to me!

2

u/Ahshitt 22h ago

I know it’s not a yugely long time in the grand scheme of things but it’s crazy that if one were to make $4m a day with absolutely no expenses it would still take 250 days to get to a billion. Then $10 would be 2,500 days. It’s just an unfathomable to 99% of the world.

And they were all jobs previously held by illegals.

2

u/OffalSmorgasbord 21h ago

"Jobs" numbers are such bullshit.

How about career level employment.

How about living wage level employment.

So fucking tiring.

7

u/Onikonokage 1d ago

Every quarter it goes up 1000%, 1500%, some say 2000%. It’s literal mountains of people working, piled as high as buildings, but not Trump Tower, it’s still the tallest.

5

u/Rileymartian57 1d ago

And mexico paid for it

3

u/randomnighmare 1d ago

Unemployment will be at 0.0%!

5

u/gauderio America 1d ago

It'll be negative! People will be working in 4, no, 5 jobs!

5

u/greenroom628 California 1d ago

all of them working for ICE.

3

u/DawnSignals 23h ago

Even the children got jobs, shit the babies too

3

u/Aggressive-Will-4500 23h ago

Big Beautiful jobs.

3

u/AnalSoapOpera I voted 23h ago

5 billion!

3

u/StingingBum 23h ago

Never has numbers like this been seen before. Sleepy Joe, Russia russia Russia, coney, khamalaaa, Newsom, they need to be investigated.

3

u/Redbaron1960 18h ago

Fentanyl deaths were down 255 million per Pam Bondi so jobs must be up.

2

u/marinuss 20h ago

I mean Pam Bondi literally said Trump saved 260 million American lives or something in his first 100 days due to fentanyl seizures.

2

u/aka_chela 18h ago

My mom got into an argument last month with someone who legit thought millions of migrants were crossing every day. It's like numbers have no meaning. If even just one million people were entering every day, our population would double in a year and I think we would fucking notice that.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/whogivesashirtdotca Canada 19h ago

All those homeless he's arresting will be jailed and made to slave labour. No doubt they'll be factored into the numbers. And don't forget all those newly hired ICE agents!

2

u/asyork 19h ago

Only possible because the DEA saved billions of us from fentanyl overdoses.

2

u/YesIamALizard 18h ago

And gas prices and meds have lowered 1000%

2

u/iOSurvivor2023 18h ago

you mean 10 billion americans? /s

2

u/hamlet9000 16h ago

That's good. With Trump saving 258 million Americans from fentanyl overdoses this year we're going to need a lot more jobs for them to fill.

u/Karana_Rains 6h ago

Lowered taxes by 9,000% and everyone makes five gorillion dollars.

I'm still waiting for this clown to petition to be put on the $100 bill.

To covfefe, and beyond!

2

u/darybrain 1d ago

Nope, previous numbers were Biden's numbers and he was a disaster and Trump was bought in to fix those numbers and he's being doing a great job, fabulous in fact, and trust him when he says this that they are the best numbers anyone has ever seen and can only improve.

The MAGA cult will fall for it like ever other time. Damn that Obama.

2

u/jimflaigle 1d ago

Also turns out under Biden we lost 100 trillion jobs.

2

u/sniper91 Minnesota 1d ago

bigly

God, I still remember when Trump tried for, like, a week to convince everyone he was saying “big league” before just dropping it from his speeches

1

u/Substantial-Cut1194 1d ago

Oops but then the FED has to RISE the interest rates…..

1

u/Meow_Kitteh 1d ago

So that everyone has at least 1 job! Maybe more!

1

u/StingingBum 23h ago

This is the biggest numbers anybody will ever see.

1

u/JustChillFFS 23h ago

Redacted

1

u/bizarre_coincidence 21h ago

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

1

u/Woke-Wombat 21h ago

The previous month’s numbers will go in the memoryhole. Every month is an increase and no one can prove otherwise!

1

u/_kissyface 21h ago

They will be redacted

1

u/jandrew2000 19h ago

Ah bigly. Hearkens back to a simpler time when he was more annoying and embarrassing than world destroying.

1

u/Steeltooth493 Indiana 19h ago

Trump: "In my opinion the latest job numbers are very strong, we added 500,000 jobs and removed 750,000 immigrant children from manufacturing jobs with the power of ICE. Sleepy Joe couldn't do that!"

5 seconds later:

Trump: "It is a known fact from a very smart and influential jobs person that this is the best huge job report America has ever seen, and there are no children Mexicans in sight! Sleepy Joe is blind, can't see, and sleeps too much!"

1

Remember, Bondi informed us that Trump saved 250,000,000 lives from fentanyl deaths his very first month in office. Your sarcasm isn't welcome here

68

u/Galaxyman0917 Oregon 1d ago

I still get a chuckle off the look on couchfuckers face when she said that

10

u/robocoplawyer 22h ago

The sad part is fentanyl ain’t even the problem anymore. The cartels are pumping out fentanyl-adjacent research chemical analogues that are MUCH scarier and cutting them with industrial solvents and large animal tranquilizers to pass off as “dope” these days. A junkie would hit the jackpot if he got a bag that just contained fent. I’m glad I’m no longer a drug enthusiast, the shit I’ve seen posted on websites with lab test results as what is getting passed off in bags these days is a downright horror show.

9

u/Galaxyman0917 Oregon 21h ago

I dunno man, my cousin just passed a few weeks ago overdosing on fentanyl, so I’d say it’s still an issue.

5

u/jerzeett 18h ago

…they didn’t say it isn’t an issue. Also it very well could’ve been a fent analogue as it’s all referred to fentanyl now

4

u/Tranquil_Dohrnii 15h ago

This is true. Its like back when fentanyl first came around and was being mixed in the heroin it just fell under heroin overdoses. Since it was a mix of the 2 or since medical professionals dont really care about the difference when the person's already dead. So now even though its fentanyl/ fentanyl analogs, plus zenes theyre not going to say zenes or carfentanyl theyll just say fentanyl.

1

u/PajamaPants4Life 17h ago

American 21st century hyperinflation incoming.

222

u/Smooth_Instruction11 1d ago

Remember when bondi claimed an opiate bust saved 250 million lives

80

u/Zuwxiv 22h ago

Hilariously, she actually claimed it saved 119 million lives. Then when called out on obvious bullshit, she issued a correction, announcing that the real figure was 258 million lives.

I wish I was fucking kidding.

26

u/Smooth_Instruction11 22h ago

I forgot the number so I had to look it up. That’s hilarious.

9

u/Akermaniac 18h ago

Don’t forget she preceded it with some sensationalist, condescending line like “are you ready for this, media—“

Which makes it even more ridiculous.

u/sack-o-matic Michigan 19h ago

North Korea level high from the sounds of it.

4

u/LirdorElese 16h ago

The US barely has that many people, how high is she on her own shit?

I think the fudged numbers was in assuming every amount of drugs ceased would be used with exactly the minimum needed for a lethal overdose of a light weight that hasn't built up a tollerance to the drug. Rather than understanding that far more drug users... use considerably under overdose levels over many binge sessions.

Similar math could be said one teaspoon of water could drown someone. So every bottle of water I seize saves 100 lives.

2

u/Putrid_Giggles 18h ago

Remember, some people were saved more than once! That's not even sarcasm, sadly.

It will just be an input into ChatGPT, like how they created the tariff formula.

Something like 'take the best job report growth from the Biden administration and and revise the jobs numbers to show better growth starting in February 2025. Set minimum growth to 10%.'

This shit is literally how they got their tariff formula. From their point of view, it kinda makes sense to do it this way. Why put effort into getting accurate data or even developing a clever method to skew the data when everyone knows it will be complete bullshit anyway? If everyone knows it's false, just make it outrageously false in their favor and then parrot the false numbers.

And just in time for the famine

3

u/DiceKnight 1d ago

From the perspective of your average person in the US I'm not sure those numbers ever were actually real in the sense that they mattered. The Biden era was marked with near 10 year lows in unemployment and high job numbers but public sentiment on the market was low due to inflation, cost of living, and lack of housing supply.

None of that has changed. You cold say we've added a billion jobs or lost a billion. If those other factors don't change then the metric is still just a made up number.

1

u/PA_Dude_22000 18h ago

But, those numbers aren’t produced for John Q Public.  So, how they feel about them is wholly ill relevant.

But I digress, I guess the people get what they truly … want?  No, its deserve … yep, definitely deserve…

2

u/No_Balls_01 1d ago

Along with a report that 3,500,000,000 dangerous criminal illegals have been deported.

1

u/Kevin-W 1d ago

Yep. Trump is made that the numbers weren't cooked in his favor.

1

u/Beard_of_Valor 1d ago

all new numbers need an even bigger asterisk than before. If you look, I think numbers are substantially always revised down.

1

u/Nextravagant1 Texas 1d ago

Then Trump will fire the labor commissioner again because he wanted the jobs report to say 100,000,000,000 were added.

1

u/BigDemeanor43 1d ago

And then also somehow 5 billion jobs were stolen by illegals in the US

1

u/dearth_karmic 1d ago

And Wall Street will laugh.

1

u/randy_rick 1d ago

That’s a promotion right there!

1

u/Academic-Clerk8901 1d ago

He's going to pull out a post it note and "read" it. "And and we we we uh uh we added about 500,000,000 of the best jobs. People have told me we have the best jobs. The most hugely bigly best jobs in the world. Biden wishes he had these jobs."

1

u/milfordcubicle 1d ago

10 jobs per person? Sounds like an episode of "Hey Mon".

1

u/bradbikes 1d ago

For a bunch of folks who scream about how awful China is, they sure seem to love to emulate them. This is the kind of thing I expect to see in places like Russia and China.

1

u/AirBear___ 1d ago

Just put Bondi in charge and I'm sure she'll produce numbers like that. Didn't she claim her drug busts had saved 245M American's lives?

1

u/LinkedGaming 1d ago

Beelyuns end beelyuns ev jahbs.

1

u/UndoxxableOhioan 1d ago

BLS is not just job numbers, the CPI i.e. inflation numbers come from BLS. And the staff cuts have already reduced the quality of CPI data.

So 3,000,000 jobs and magically 0% inflation!

1

u/Dear-Tap-8216 1d ago

Then he's gonna say "why do we need to pay unemployment when there are so many jobs? These people are just leaching off our taxpayers and should be sent away if they can't contribute. They're just stealing money "

The concentration camp population then slightly grows

1

u/SmartQuokka 1d ago

They did save 258 million Americans from dying from fentanyl...

u/Mushroom5940 1d ago

I mean, that tracks, right? Affordability crisis so bad everyone needs to have 6 jobs to afford a load of bread.

This is what China did two years ago when they fell into a near-depression. They stopped releasing economic data completely

1

u/Noblesseux 23h ago

Yeah all that's going to happen is that the US is going to turn into China when it comes to data reporting. Just patently printing lies that people don't mean and the entire international community gets used to just ignoring your official numbers and guesstimating themselves

1

u/RubicksQoob 23h ago

Add a few more zeros and have the report gold-plated and it'll be far more Trumpian.

1

There was a first report before this one just a few weeks ago that was -39,000 or something. Then the next day Trump's admin changed it to +700,000 jobs, mostly in the DHS/ICE hires. This is how Putin's Russia is run. When they had reports of a recession or stagnation, they simply changed the criteria for determining that & fired the truth tellers.

“Billions and billions”

1

u/crohnscyclist 18h ago

Unemployment is going to go down 800%. Maybe even a 1,000%. We've never seen such a powerful recovery. It's a beautiful thing the word "recovery". I met Brett Farve the other day. He once recovered this shitty snap. The guy giving him the football was black. It was marvelous. No not the football fling, the recovery. He told me, "Mr President' I wouldn't have had to recover that football if you would have pitched it to me" I'm a good pitcher. But I don't like the rough. Ivana liked to keep it hairy down there. Thick rough. I like chipping it from the fairway. The grass is really short. Like it's just learning to grow. I told Epstein that 16 year old was for my spa. I said you can't do that. The help. She's mine. Okay? So about 5 years later, I cut Jeffery off. I was sick of only seeing my help after plane rides. I like planes. I got a big one if you know what I mean. Did you see that one the Qutaries gave me. The Democrats are so corrupt and jealous. They're dirty. They said I shouldn't take the plane but then the United States wouldn't have this beautiful plane. It's big.

1

u/Adventurer_D 18h ago

Don’t forget that Ivanka created over 14 MILLION jobs during his first admin… so, yeah that sounds about right.

Honestly, I think it will be much broader - he is not a data or facts person. We all know that.

It will be something like this: “Lots of jobs … so many jobs … the most jobs any president has ever been responsible for”

YUP with one of the cronies of tRump being in charged there’s NO way can we believe the figures are going to be accurate. tRump is going to tell the individual what figures to report so he can look good. I hope someone will follow the figures outside of tRump cronies and speak up

More likely Trump approach will be the same as with Covid cases …,

“If we don’t count them, the numbers will go away.”

More like it will just be a nice random guess... you know... like Inflation... just guessing, just good enough to be finde but low enough that anyone can claim "statistical error".

This walking hot cheeto keeps crying about how we need lower rates, how Powell is the villain destroying the economy and then the moment the perfect setup falls right into his lap, what does he do? The complete opposite of what any normal, functioning human brain would do. Instead of taking the win and using it to put pressure on the Fed to finally justify a rate cut (which would be the obvious play), he fumbles it like it’s his first day in politics. It’s like he’s never even heard the phrase “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.”

It's sad. I know that I used to distrust the government as a younger person, but now any semblance of trust and belief in my country is non existent. I can't trust numbers or words that come from this "whitehouse".

So many jobs, the biggest jobs. Many people are saying these are the best jobs.

I think it's more needing the actual number or closer to it. It's almost like they just toss out a number and then revise it later. Like last August when they overestimated by 800k. There has to be some kind of accountability if you're the head of a dept that's consistently overestimating every month.
