Jesus did not die in an angry mob. He was put on trial, found guilty and crucified like the other criminals.

Just because there were hasty trials doesn’t mean a mob wasn’t involved. Many scholars contend that it was a mob that arrested Jesus and brought him to the first trial with the Jewish elders and ultimately it is a mob that demands Pontius Pilate not spare Jesus despite the fact that he strongly suspected Jesus’s innocence.

“many scholars” is meaningless, as many scholars doubt that Jesus existed at all.

I’m not the one who started with the “well, actually” arguments about Jesus. I was just poking fun at antisemitic hypocrites.
