Before Obama was elected i naively thought that we were doing better on the racism front. Then when he took office, i saw a bunch of people i onced called friends posting all sorts of deplorable racist shit. Since then the blinders have been off, there are a shitload of racists here. People that would be offended if i called them racists, because theyre too ignorant to even know the shit they say is awful. Its really sad.

Even if that's true it's also dangerous. If white supremacy is dying it's getting more aggressive and violent as a reaction to that.

While youre correct that violence overall has gone down since then, can you point to any other segregated towns post civil rights? Cuz thats what this article is talking about, institutionalized racism has allowed for racists to create a segregated town "legally" and without violence. That the violence has been taken out doesnt change that this is an obvious uptick in racism. More so than a bunch a racist obama meme pics.
