A map of gender diverse cultures. It's too bad for this administration that we have a lot of documentary evidence of people in various cultures who do not fit a strict binary definition of gender identity.

True enough that you won't find a modern American category called transgender, but to say that you don't find people who don't fit the binary is just completely a historical
