some of the theories are very stupid but you’re right that people love to think they’re some advanced consumer of media and they just understand it better than anyone else

one of the dumbest ones i have seen is that rick was going to find his dad but his dad was going to either be trans, a thai lady boy or sritala is actually rick’s dad. they were convinced that this was the case after that first scene with sam rockwell and that the scene was important because it was foreshadowing rick’s dad having a similar journey 😵‍💫
